Windy roses

Pruning roses on windy days is cold.
Not a very detailed statement I know but I’m sure it has many levels and is secretly deep and profound.
Also whomever discovers a way of making Marigolds out of Kevlar should automatically be given Nobel prizes. In fact the RHS ought to set up an equivalent of the Fields Medal to solve the ‘tying knots whilst not getting spiked’ problem which terrorises rose pruners everywhere.
